Community, learning, and democratic education are at the heart of our collaboration
Konventum has joined the Elsinore 2032 association, thereby becoming part of the growing network of local and regional stakeholders working to develop North Zealand as a cohesive cultural and tourist destination region leading up to 2032.
The iconic training and conference center Konventum in Elsinore has joined the Elsinore 2032 association, which is working to make Elsinore the European Capital of Culture in 2032.
For Konventum, this decision is rooted in a shared set of values in which community, learning, and democratic education are central.
“Konventum was created as a place that fosters learning and brings people together. Through our conferences, courses, and training programs, we actively promote community and democratic education—values we clearly recognize in Elsinore 2032,” says Henrik Ingemand, CEO of Konventum.
Konventum is a historic, architecturally and artistically distinctive training and conference center, beautifully situated in harmony with the natural surroundings of Elsinore. The venue is also cooperatively owned—a form of organization that aligns with Elsinore 2032’s focus on co-ownership, co-creation, and broad-based communities.
At Elsinore 2032, the registration is being greeted with great enthusiasm.
“With Konventum as a member, Elsinore 2032’s foundation is further strengthened—not merely as a cultural project, but as a broad community initiative in which learning, democracy, and community are key elements of the ambition to make Elsinore the European Capital of Culture in 2032,” says Jens Frimann Hansen, chair of Elsinore 2032.
