Community, learning, and democratic development are at the heart of this collaboration.

Konventum has joined the Elsinore 2032 association! This means they're now part of our growing network of local and regional players who are all working to develop North Zealand into a connected cultural and destination region by 2032.

Konventum, the iconic course and conference center in Helsingør, has joined the Elsinore 2032 association, which is working to make Helsingør the European Capital of Culture in 2032.

For Konventum, this decision is rooted in shared values, with community, learning, and democratic development at their core.

“Konventum was created as a place that welcomes learning and people. Through our conferences, courses, and educational programs, we actively foster communities and democratic development, and these are values we clearly recognize in Elsinore 2032,” says Henrik Ingemand, CEO of Konventum.

Konventum is a protected, architecturally and artistically significant course and conference center, beautifully nestled in nature around Helsingør. It's also cooperatively owned, an organizational model that perfectly aligns with Elsinore 2032's focus on co-ownership, co-creation, and broad community engagement.

Elsinore 2032 is thrilled about this new membership!

“Having Konventum as a member further strengthens Elsinore 2032's foundation – not just as a cultural project, but as a broad community initiative where learning, democracy, and community are key elements in our ambition to make Helsingør the European Capital of Culture in 2032,” says Jens Frimann Hansen, Chairman of Elsinore 2032.
